Project Description

Hall's Warehouse Corporation is comprised of warehousing and logistic solutions for dry, refrigerated and frozen foods operating over 1,700,000 square feet of temperature controlled refrigeration and frozen storage. With this installation, the company will boast a total of 3.2 MW (DC) of solar energy installed, making it New Jersey's largest private commercial roof-top solar system and one of the largest net-metered systems in the United States. The project is also the largest to date in the PSE&G Solar Loan Program. The installation significantly contributes to Hall's goal to reduce their carbon footprint and allows the company to save money through avoided energy costs and income from sale of generation. It further demonstrates a commitment to New Jersey's Energy Master Plan goals which call for 30% for the state's electricity to come from renewable sources by 2020.
